Alternative Futures Open House
On October 28th Design Workshop, the Steering Committee and the City hosted the Alternative Futures Open House at the College of the Ozarks, Keeters Center. Approximately 60 people, representing the community, businesses and various organizations, attended to provide their preferences on a variety of potential future outcomes for Branson.
Visioning Workshop
On October 7th, Design Workshop, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and the City hosted a Visioning Workshop at Branson High School in the school's auditorium. Roughly 80 people attended one of the two events and helped the consultant team drill down into more detail about the issues facing Branson and highlight priorities for future City efforts.
Workforce Survey
A survey was crafted with specific questions for Branson's workforce. A total of 889 responses were received that gave the team an additional perspective on a variety of issues. That survey was then distributed to businesses in the entertainment and hospitality industries, the school district, healthcare groups, public agencies and all other facets of Branson's vibrant tourist community.
Informational Open House - August 12, 2010
On August 12th Design Workshop, the Steering Committee and the City hosted an Informational Open House at the Convention Center. Over 250 people, representing organizations, agencies, workers and residents, attended the event and shared their input on the future of Branson.
Design Workshop's Kick-Off - June 14, 2010
Design Workshop conducted interviews in June at City Hall. By the end of the two day period, they had interviewed 92 individuals representing over 60 of the different groups and organizations that make up Branson.
